Good Old Home Cooking on the East Side of Providence
There is no shortage of food choices for Brown students or residents of the East Side, but when you're tired of cafeteria food or the typical fast food meal and are craving some honest and hearty food, then Meeting Street Cafe is the place for you. Located just around the corner from Thayer Street, it is a quaintly unique restaurant serving up the best and biggest sandwiches, soups and entrees on the East Side. Meeting Street offers a variety of cooked-to-order entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner! And for those who are still hungry, then Meeting Street also offers a wide variety of cakes, pies and their famous collosal cookies!
Preparing items in-house, the old fashioned way has been Meeting Street's trademark, setting us apart from all others.

This restaurant is the absolute best! Fresh, wholesome ingredients always prepared in the most delicious and unique ways. You will not be disappointed by anything on the menu! My favorite place for years! Try it and it will soon become a favorite of yours too!
I've been going to this restaurant for 20 years, so many favorites ranging from the fisherman sandwich, the hummis, the cheesesteak to the fresh fish platter! Very fresh consistently, well worth it!!

The cookies are amazing at Meeting Street Cafe, the chocolate chip cookies are worth the trip, and they are huge!! Seriously, bigger than most peoples heads!! I would recommend these to anyone!
